As you can see, I made a few changes to the layout we have currently. I changed the bg color of the main layout and background. This also prompted me to switched the side menu and main menu by facing it on its opposite direction just like the very first layout I had here on Candi-Corner. We will have this layout for a while as I am still in the works of finishing up the new layout. BTW, this layout is Best viewed on Firefox. In the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy the changes I made. :)

Apply Today I had the chance and checked out all the elites that I had. Some sites that had me, actually forgot to put me in there elites and other sites haven't updated at all. So go ahead and apply. If you site is High Quality, updated all the time, and you have a lot of hits, then go ahead and apply and I will check my email. Lock up and Melina with a knee and wrist lock takedown. Melina turns it into a hammerlock and pushes Candice hard to the mat. Candice with a side headlock takeover for a two count. Melina vs Mickie James Melina is distracted by Candice, and Mickie hits the victory roll, but Melina kicks out at two. Speaking of Candice, she is scheduled to make an appearance at the 2nd Annual WWE Venice Beach event in Venice Beach, CA on Saturday, August 9. Other stars scheduled to appear include Mr. Kennedy, Carlito, The Miz, John Morrison, Funaki, Shannon Moore, Tommy Dreamer, Mike Knox, Layla, and Lena Yada, who is still employed. Last year, two wrestling matches were held at the event.

View Digitals | We are then shown Fabulous Moolah winning the Women’s Title back in 1985. Match 8: Women’s Championship: (Champion) Melina vs. Candice Michelle Melina wants a test of strength from the beautiful Candice. Candice accepts but Melina kicks Candice in the stomach and nails a knee to her face. Candice counters with a drop toe hold and Candice irish whips Melina to the corner. Candice goes up top and applies her signature leg lock submission over the top rope. Melina counters and nails a vicious kick to Candice’s back. On the apron, Melina applies a leg lock that twists Candice’s neck. Melina covers for only a one count. Melina with a headbutt in the corner. Melina charges and puts up two knees to Candice’s stomach. Melina with a leg choke in the corner and turns it into a head scissors takedown. Candice catches Melina with a front roll for a two count. Melina slams Candice’s face to the mat and applies a bow and arrow. Candice counters into a pin for a one count. Melina chokes Candice in the ropes and charges but Candice ducks the ropes, sending Melina to the outside. In the ring, Candice nails a powerslam and falls out of her top wrestling the rest of the match in her bra. Candice nails the go daddy elbow drop for a two count. Candice with a running bulldog for another two count. Melina rakes Candice’s eyes and nails a backbreaker for only a two count. Candice ducks Melina and nails her spinning heel kick for the win! Winner: Candice Michelle (New Women’s Champion!) Rating: ** (Yes! Finally Candice Michelle has won the women’s title! She has deserved this ever since ever since the beginning of 2006 and it’s finally happened. The match itself was a good women’s match and Candice crying after the match resembled to when Trish Stratus won her first title at Survivor Series 2001 and then Trish cried. I hope this is one of many title wins for Candice!) After the match Candice Michelle breaks down in tears on winning her first Women’s Championship!

Candice is going for a MRI next week. If she passes then she will start weight training to get back into the ring. At the earliest she hopes to be back in ring by Summerslam.

Okay, so Dan (Danielson) and I met Jackie Gayda, Dawn and Terri today. And we asked Jackie about who she is close with in the company still. One person she said she is really close to is Candice Michelle. She said something about talking to her recently and while Candice feels she's ready to go, the MRI this past week showed she's not quite ready.
In the latest issue of WWE Magazine has an interview with Women's Champion Mickie James. They also ask her, "Which Diva's fingerprints would you expect to find on the knife that stabs you in the back?" Mickie replies, "Michelle McCool's. Being on SmackDown, she hasn't had a shot at the Women's Title yet. She's hungry. Or maybe even my dear friend Candice. She'd been out with an injury -- an injury that actually cost her a title match. She definitely wants her shot. But when I'm a Champion, I'm a fighting Champion. So I say, "Bring it on."
